The University Studies degree is an innovative degree that provides students at Texas A&M the flexibility to combine several areas of interest into an individual degree plan. Academic advising and the process through which students submit proposals are key to ensuring that students complete degrees that will meet their academic and career expectations.

Please email unst@gap.tamu.edu if you have questions about the program.

Students interested in applying to University Studies should review the information provided in there webpages and determine the desired combination of one concentration and two minors. Students must meet one of the Directors in General Academic Programs to discuss their plans and receive an application packet.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis once they are submitted.

Important note: Students must be in good academic standing at TAMU and in good standing in the three areas they choose. Students must have no less than 30 and no more than 100 passed hours to be eligible to apply for US majors. Students must be enrolled as a University Studies major for at least two semesters before they may graduate.
