The University Studies degree is an innovative degree that provides students at Texas A&M the flexibility to combine several areas of interest into an individual degree plan. Academic advising and the process through which students submit proposals are key to ensuring that students complete degrees that will meet their academic and career expectations.

Please email chris@gap.tamu.edu for information on setting up an appointment. Be aware that because of the large number of students interested in the program, the next available appointment may be several weeks away.

The deadline for submitting US applications was July 1. We will begin the next application cycle after the fall semester begins.

Important note: Students must be enrolled as a University Studies major for at least two semesters before they may graduate.

Students interested in applying to University Studies must request an appointment by no later than October 15th.
